KVKK Notice
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This notice is given under Article 10 of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") to people who use Yelkovan's apps and yelkovan.ai. Details of the data each app processes are in that app's privacy addendum. This is a translation; the Turkish version prevails.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Yiğit Özdemir (Yelkovan), a developer based in Türkiye. Contact: info@yelkovan.ai
2. Categories of personal data
The data processed depends on the app and the features you use:
- Identity: the name passed by the sign-in provider, the username you choose in the app.
- Contact: email address.
- Customer transaction: in-app progress and saves, purchase transaction IDs, support correspondence.
- Transaction security: user ID (UID), device and app information, IP address.
- Marketing: the advertising ID and ad interactions processed by the ad network to show ads.
3. Purposes
- Providing goods and services (the app, the features you ask for and delivery of purchases),
- information security, and preventing cheating and abuse,
- advertising,
- handling requests and complaints, and communication,
- legal affairs and meeting obligations under the law.
4. Legal grounds
Personal data is processed on the following grounds in KVKK Art. 5(2):
- it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5(2)(c)),
- it is needed for the controller to meet a legal obligation (Art. 5(2)(ç)),
- it is needed to establish, exercise or protect a right (Art. 5(2)(e)),
- it is needed for the controller's legitimate interests, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed (Art. 5(2)(f)).
Where none of these grounds applies, data is processed only with your explicit consent (Art. 5(1)), which you can withdraw at any time.
5. How data is collected
Personal data is collected automatically through the apps and the service-provider software built into them, from the sign-in provider (Apple or Google) when you sign in, from the app store when you buy something, and by email when you write to us.
6. Transfers
Limited to the purposes above, personal data may be transferred to our service providers (for example Google, Apple and RevenueCat) and, where the law requires, to competent public authorities. Because the providers' servers are abroad (for example in the United States and the European Union), data may be transferred outside Türkiye. These transfers fall under KVKK Art. 9; you can write to us to ask which transfer mechanism is relied on. Each app's addendum lists the providers it uses.
7. Your rights under KVKK Art. 11
- To learn whether your personal data is processed,
- to request information about it if it is,
- to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose,
- to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad it is transferred to,
- to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- to request deletion or destruction under the conditions in KVKK Art. 7,
- to request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to,
- to object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis of your data,
- to claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
To exercise your rights, send your request to info@yelkovan.ai from the email address you use in the app, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Applications to the Data Controller. Include your name, surname, your request and which app it concerns. We may ask for more information to verify your identity.
We conclude your request free of charge as soon as possible, depending on its nature, and within 30 days at the latest. If the request involves an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board. If your request is rejected, you find the reply insufficient, or we do not reply in time, you can complain to the Board under KVKK Art. 14.
