Privacy Policy

This policy explains how your personal data is handled when you use Yelkovan's apps and the yelkovan.ai website. Exactly which data an app processes is set out in that app's privacy addendum.
1. Who we are
Yelkovan is the mobile app studio of Yiğit Özdemir, an independent developer based in Türkiye. In this policy, "Yelkovan", "we", "us" and "our" mean Yiğit Özdemir, who is the controller of the personal data processed in our apps and on this website.

2. Scope and app addenda
This policy applies to the apps Yelkovan publishes on the App Store and Google Play, and to yelkovan.ai. Some of our apps may appear in the stores under a different developer account name; where that is the case, the app's addendum says so.
Every app has a privacy addendum. It describes which data the app processes, which service providers it uses and how you can delete your data. The addendum and this policy are read together; where they differ on the same point, the addendum prevails for that app. The addenda are listed at the end of this page.
3. Data we may process
Which data is processed depends on the app and on the features you use. In general, it may include:
- Account data: if you choose to sign in to an app, the user ID, email address and name passed to us by the sign-in provider (for example Apple or Google).
- App data: progress, settings, scores and similar content created as you use the app. Some of it may stay only on your device, and some may be stored on a server, linked to your account.
- Purchase data: for in-app purchases, the product, the transaction ID and store transaction details. Apple or Google takes the payment; your card details are never passed to us.
- Advertising and device data: in apps that show ads, the ad network may process data such as device model, operating system, IP address and the approximate location derived from it, ad interactions and, as far as your device settings allow, the device's advertising ID.
- Correspondence: your email address and what you write when you email us.
4. Why we process data
- To provide the app and the features you ask for (such as sign-in, cloud saves and leaderboards),
- to deliver what you buy and to keep a purchase from being lost or processed twice,
- to fund free apps with advertising,
- to prevent cheating and abuse and keep the service secure,
- to answer your support requests,
- to meet our legal obligations.
5. Legal bases
We process data on the following bases (GDPR Art. 6, KVKK Art. 5):
- Performance of a contract: providing the app and the features you ask for, and delivering purchases.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, preventing cheating, funding the apps through advertising and improving them.
- Legal obligation: records required by law and responses to competent authorities.
- Consent: where the law requires it. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before.

6. Service providers and international transfers
Our apps use third-party service providers for things like authentication, data storage, advertising and payments (for example Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Apple, Google Play and RevenueCat). Each app's addendum lists the providers it uses. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and contract terms.
The providers' servers may be outside Türkiye, for example in the United States and the European Union, so your data may be transferred abroad. These transfers fall under KVKK Art. 9 and Chapter V of the GDPR. You can write to us to ask which transfer mechanism is relied on.
We do not sell your personal data. Where the law requires it, we may share data with competent public authorities.
7. How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as the purpose requires. Unless an addendum says otherwise, data linked to an account is kept until you delete the account. Data kept only on your device is removed from it when you uninstall the app. Records the law requires us to keep longer are kept for that period. Service providers' technical logs are deleted at the end of their own retention periods.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- find out whether your data is processed and get a copy of it,
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected,
- have your data deleted,
- restrict or object to processing,
- receive your data in a commonly used format (portability),
- withdraw consent where processing is based on it.
To make a request, write to info@yelkovan.ai. We may ask for more information to verify your identity (for example the email address linked to your account in the app). We reply within 30 days at the latest.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) in Türkiye or, in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, to the data protection authority where you live.
9. Children
Unless an app's addendum says otherwise, our apps are not directed at children under 13. In line with rules such as COPPA in the United States, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we delete it. Some EU countries set this age as high as 16; if you are under the age that applies in your country, ask a parent before signing in to an app.

10. Security
We aim to protect data with the access controls and in-transit encryption our service providers offer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. The yelkovan.ai website
This website uses no cookies and no analytics tools. The font, images and code all load from the site itself. Your theme choice (light or dark) and whether the intro animation has played in this tab are stored only in your browser and are not sent to us.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical connection records such as IP addresses to serve and secure the site; see GitHub's privacy statement.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is published on this page with the date at the top. We will also announce significant changes in the app or on this website.
